Leicester City, Wolves, Sheffield United, 6 Championship Clubs Battle For Tottenham Starlet Okedina
Published: November 01, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that at least three English Premier League clubs are exploring ways to sign Tottenham Hotspur starlet Jubril Okedina.
Leicester City, Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in bringing the central defender to their club at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
However, Tottenham Hotspur are likely to activate a one-year extension clause in Okedina's contract at season's end having delivered impressive performances for their U23 team in the Premier League 2.
Six EFL Championship clubs namely Derby County, West Brom, Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest are also in the race for the signature of the exciting center back.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic have emerged as the two front-runners for the services of the highly-rated teenager.
Okedina's biggest attributes are his versatility as he is also capable of playing as a right-back and he's athletic as well as being quick.
