Super Eagles Striker Drawing Interest From Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool
Published: December 18, 2019
According to Sky Sports UK, three Premier League clubs are chasing in-form Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
European champions Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are among the teams credited with an interest in the Lille goal poacher.
Lille President Gérard López is planning to keep hold of Osimhen until at least the end of the 2019-2020 campaign but a monster bid from an interested club could tempt him to part company with his prized jewel.
Lille Sporting Director Luis Campos, who recommended the signing of the Ultimate Strikers product in the summer, holds close links with Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho and the Portuguese was spotted more than once at Lille's home matches prior to his new job in North London.
The 20-year-old was linked with possible moves to Arsenal and Tottenham before sealing a move to Wolfsburg in January 2017.
Including his first half goal against Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday, he has scored 12 goals from 23 games in all competitions while registering four assists.
Osimhen's contract with Lille runs out at the end of the 2023-2024 season.
