Bournemouth Interested In Signing Nigerian Winger Linked With Newcastle United

Bournemouth have reignited their interest in Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, according to a report from the Daily Mail UK.

The Cherries had explored the possibility of signing the former England U20 star but missed out on his services to RB Leipzig last summer.

Lookman made a return to the German Bundesliga after impressing for RB Leipzig in the second half of the 2017-2018 season but his second spell at the club has not been as successful as anticipated due to a lack of playing opportunities.

The stumbling block to Bournemouth signing the winger is that RB Leipzig are willing to loan him with an obligation to purchase at the end of the season.

In addition, there is also interest for Lookman from Premier League rivals Newcastle United and West Ham.

Lookman has appeared in four matches so far this season, with his last start coming against SC Freiburg on October 26.
