Leicester City Star Ndidi Available For Selection Against Birmingham City
Published: March 02, 2020Wilfred Ndidi has received the medical green light from Leicester City medical team ahead of the Emirates FA Cup clash against Birmingham City on Wednesday night.
Making his first appearance in a month against Norwich City last Friday, the holding midfielder came through his comeback game unscathed.
The Nigeria national-teamer was not available for selection for three consecutive Premier League matches during his latest spell on the sidelines as he recovered from a reaction to a knee operation.
Providing a fitness update on his players, manager Brendan Rodgers said on Ndidi : "The great news for us was Wilf coming back and getting game time.
"Apart from that, Daniel Amartey has been out for a period of time, but everyone else is okay."
With Jamie Vardy unavailable for selection to face Birmingham City, Kelechi Iheanacho is the top candidate to deputize for the recuperating striker.
