Published: March 24, 2020
Monaco loanee Henry Onyekuru has sent a get well message to legendary Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim after he tested positive for coronavirus.
The 66-year-old football tactician who is in his fourth stint as coach of the Super Lig giants revealed on Monday that he had tested positive for Covid-19.
In a message posted on social media, Terim stated that he's doing well and he's being taken care of by medical staff.
Galatasaray Vice Chairman Abdurrahim Albayrak and his wife Sukran Albayrak have also tested positive for coronavirus.
Writing on Twitter, Onyekuru said : "Get well soon coach. You are a true warrior and I know you will be back in no time! This is bigger than football and we must all stay safe and listen to advice. #StayAtHome @fatihterim".
The Nigeria international returned to the Turkish champions for a second spell in the January transfer window after finding game time difficult to come by at Monaco, whom he joined on a permanent deal last summer.
Since his loan move, Onyekuru has appeared in nine matches across all competitions, and has been involved in three goals (1 goal, 2 assists).
