Nigeria-Eligible Midfielder Amos Hints Tottenham Should Make A Move For QPR's Eze
Published: April 23, 2020
Tottenham Hotspur-owned midfielder of Nigerian descent Luke Amos has hinted that his parent club should make a move for Eberechi Eze.
The Queens Park Rangers playmaker continues to be linked with a switch to the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace among his suitors.
Eze has received praise from Amos who has labelled him 'one of the best players' he has seen in his career and believes the former Super Eagles invitee can bring something new to a team.
The England U21 international is having his best season as a professional, with 12 goals to his name in the league and has picked up eight assists to go with it.
In quotes carried by Vital Football making reference to the Athletic, Amos said : "A lot of Tottenham fans will be pleased to hear I’m really good friends with Ebe.
"It’s his career, it’s up to him what he wants to do. But he’s one of the best players I’ve ever seen.
"Any club he walks into, he’ll change. Someone’s got to do something quickly before they miss out."
A former England U18 international, Amos has refused to rule out the possibility of representing the Nigerian National Team in the near future.
The 23-year-old is spending the entirety of the season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, for whom he has made 26 appearances in all competitions.
