Published: June 25, 2020
Arsenal have confirmed via their official website that versatile Nigerian youngster Tobi Omole will depart the club on July 1, 2020.
Born in London, Omole joined the Gunners' Hale End Academy in 2014 after he was spotted playing for Thamesmead as a box-to-box midfielder.
The 20-year-old is also comfortable being deployed as a central defender and left-back.
A powerful defensive-minded player, he was one of Arsenal's first year scholars for the 2016-2017 season and inked his first professional contract in August 2018.
Omole departs Arsenal after making 16 appearances in the Premier League 2 and also represented the Young Gunners in the U18 Premier League, EFL Trophy, FA Youth Cup and Premier League International Cup.
He was named in Arsenal's Europa League squad for the 2019-2020 season (List B).
