Everton Planning To Loan Out Nigerian Midfielder Next Season
Published: July 06, 2020
English Premier League club Everton are planing to loan out Nigerian midfielder Dennis Adeniran for the 2020-2021 season, according to reports.
The Liverpool Echo says the Toffees intend to loan him out to gain first team experience and he could sign a new deal before heading out on loan, with his current contract expiring in June 2021.
Some unnamed clubs explored the possibility of signing Adeniran on loan in the January transfer window but Everton opted to keep him for the remainder of the season.
Since joining Everton from Fulham in the summer of 2017, the 21-year-old has yet to make his debut for the first team but was an unused substitute against Leicester City in the League Cup back in December.
Adeniran is capable of playing multiple positions including central midfielder, right winger and attacking midfielder.
He has been training with Everton's first team since the restart of the Premier League.
London-born Adeniran represented England at the 2016 European U17 Championship and also has caps for the Young Lions at U18 and U19 levels.
