Club Brugge Coach Convinced Sheffield United-Linked Dennis Is A Premier League Material
Published: July 11, 2020
Club Brugge manager Philippe Clement reckons that the time is ripe for Emmanuel Dennis to take the next step in his career and believes that the Nigeria national-teamer is an English Premier League material.
Valued in the region of 25 million euros by the Belgian champions, Dennis has been linked with approximately half of the Premier League clubs in England, including this season's surprise package Sheffield United.
Blessed with explosive pace, the Nigerian has a key tool to excel in the English top-flight, Clement has revealed .
"I'm very down to earth. I don't take players dreams away. If you do, you'll lose them. Unless I'm really convinced they're choosing the wrong club. Then I'll ask them,' Would you? " Clement told Het Laatste Nieuws (via voetbalprimeur.be).
On Dennis's ideal destination, Clement said : "The Premier League. There are spaces for fast strikers, the crowd over there likes types like Dennis, and Dennis will love the buzz that the Premier League brings."
The 22-year-old Dennis has a contract with Club Brugge until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
