Paris St. Germain Reportedly Interested In Manchester United Striker Ighalo?
Published: August 13, 2020
French champions Paris St. Germain are interested in signing Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo, according to reports.
German transfer market website Fussballtransfers claims that the Ligue 1 powerhouse have made initial contacts with Ighalo's camp over a deal.
The former Nigeria international initially joined Manchester United on loan in the January transfer window, before the loan deal was extended at the end of May, keeping him at the Old Trafford outfit until January 30, 2021.
PSG have identified the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations top scorer as a replacement for Edinson Cavani who departed the Parisians at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
Foot Mercato, a French transfer market website, has published an identical story, confirming that Ighalo is one of the strikers on PSG's shortlist this summer.
The former Watford and Granada man, who has a contract with parent club Shanghai Shenhua until December 2021, has scored 5 goals in 18 appearances since joining United.
