Former Nigeria international Odion Ighalo has missed out on Manchester United's Player of the Year for the 2019-2020 campaign.
The Shanghai Shenhua loanee and 26 other United first teamers were long-listed for the yearly accolade.
Manchester United informed via their official website on Friday that Bruno Fernandes has been crowned as the winner of the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award for 2019-20 following a brilliant start to his career at Old Trafford.
With 35.5 percent of the votes, Fernandes finished first in the poll, narrowly beating Anthony Martial with 34 percent while Marcus Rashford earned 10.4 percent of the votes.
Ighalo was not named in the top six, with Mason Greenwood (8.3 percent), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (3.8 percent) and Harry Maguire (2.4 percent) finishing fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
The Manchester United number 25 tallied five goals in 19 appearances across all competitions in the second half of last season.
Ighalo was also in the running for United's Goal of the Season which was won by Rashford for his brilliant long range strike vs Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
