Arsenal Starlet Looks Up To Saka, Certain Oyegoke Will Make It; Names Azeez As Player With Best Touch
Published: September 18, 2020
Arsenal attacking midfielder Omari Hutchinson is certain that versatile Nigerian fullback Daniel Oyegoke will make it Arsenal.
Oyegoke trained with the Gunners first team in pre-season and came on as a substitute in the friendly againstĀ MK Dons last month.
First team manager Mikel Arteta also ran the rule over the 17-year-old in the first week of September.
Oyegoke made his EFL Trophy debut in the 2-1 win over Ipswich Town on September 8 and three days later he was handed his Premier League 2 debut in a 2-1 loss to Southampton B.
Speaking to the Arsenal matchday programme, Hutchinson picked Oyegoke when asked to name the Academy player who will definitely make it.
On the player with the best touch, the England U17 international went for talented Spanish-Nigerian midfielder born in England, Miguel Azeez.
On the first team players he looks up to, Hutchinson selected Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.
Saka, Oyegoke and Azeez are U21 players and are eligible to represent Arsenal in the Premier League and Europa League this season.
