Versatile Nigerian Midfielder Named In Real Madrid's Champions League Squad

Spanish-born youngster of Nigerian descent, Marvin Akinlabi could be in line to make his debut in the UEFA Champions League this season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
La Liga champions Real Madrid have submitted a 35-man squad list to UEFA with the versatile midfielder making the cut.
The 2000-born Akinlabi is among ten players classed as U21 players named to the List B, the others being Diego Altube, Luis Lopez, Victor Chust, Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Santos, Sergio Arribas, Antonio Blanco, Carlos Dotor and Juan Latasa.
The Spanish-Nigerian is eligible to be registered on Los Blancos List B because he has spent more than two years at the club, having joined their academy ranks in the summer of 2016.

The 20-year-old has returned to Real Madrid Castilla and started their last pre-season friendly on Saturday, a 2-0 win against CF Rayo Majadahonda at Campo Municipal de la Oliva.
