Published: October 13, 2020
Talented Nigerian striker Cole Marsden-Umebuani was impressive over the weekend as Manchester United U9s team beat their Blackburn Rovers counterparts in a series of friendlies, allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed.
Marsden-Umebuani officially switched to the Old Trafford outfit in the summer of 2020 from Fletcher Moss Rangers, which produced Marcus Rashford, Wes Brown and Danny Welbeck, and the youngster who has been tipped to make the grade has been showing off his goalscoring qualities.
He was involved in four matches against Blackburn Rovers, scoring a total of nine goals.
Marsden-Umebuani won every game, bagged a brace each in three matches and netted a hat-trick in the other game.
Predominantly a striker, he is strong, dominant, fast,
has the ability to control the tempo of a game and drops into midfield
fluidly during five-a-side and six-a-side matches.
Marsden-Umebuani signed a rolling one-year contract with Manchester United.
