Crystal Palace rising star Eberechi Eze was back in the fold despite fears he would not be available for selection against Burnley in a Premier League game at Turf Moor this evening.

It earlier looked as if the Super Eagles target was going to miss the game after pulling out of the England U21 squad due to muscle stiffness but he passed a fitness test to be named in the starting lineup against the Clarets.

Chris Wood scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the eighth minute, assisted by Jay Rodriguez who cut the Crystal Palace defence open with a through ball.

Despite Palace suffering their fourth defeat in the Premier League this term, many fans raved about the performance of Eze who was making his fourth start in the top-flight.

The former Queens Park Rangers playmaker looked lively, took on players, created chances for his teammates and showed off his repertoire of skills.
