'The Greatest Day Since I Arrived Porto' - Eagles LB Sanusi Over The Moon After First UCL Goal
Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi was delighted after netting his first goal for Portuguese champions Porto and it came in their 2-0 win against Marseille in a UEFA Champions League clash at Orange Vélodrome on Wednesday night.

In his ninth appearance for Porto, the summer signing from Santa Clara made his mark by opening the scoring in the 39th minute, firing home the rebound after his initial effort from close range was saved by goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

Sanusi logged 579 minutes in total before opening his account for the 2004 European champions.

Speaking after the game, the Porto number 12 told UEFA's official website : "It was important for me to score my first goal for Porto and in the Champions League.

"I always dreamed of playing for a big club. I thank God to be at such a big club like Porto, to be able to play in the Champions League.

"We have to keep working like this. It's a very happy day for me, the greatest since I arrived at Porto.

"We got three important points and congratulations go out to the whole team".

Following the win against Marseille, Porto need one point from their last two matches to qualify for the last sixteen of the Champions League.
