Super Eagles Midfielder Ndidi Makes First Start In 74 Days For Leicester City Vs Zorya Luhansk

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has kept his word by including Wilfred Ndidi in his starting lineup for Thursday evening's Europa League meeting against Ukrainian opponents Zorya Luhansk at Zaporizhzhya City Stadium.
The Northern Irish football tactician had hinted at the pre-match press conference that the Super Eagles star would be involved in some capacity against Zorya Luhansk.
Joining Ndidi in the Foxes starting lineup is fellow Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho who starts in attack.
The Nath Boys product last featured for the Foxes when he played through the pain barrier for ninety minutes in Leicester City's 4-2 home win against Burnley on September 20, 74 days ago.
Ndidi has sixteen European games under his belt comprising six in the Europa League proper, another six in the Europa League qualifying rounds and four in the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
The holding midfielder has two goals to his name in the Europa League, both scored against Athletic Bilbao in 2016.
Leicester City beat Zorya 3-0 on matchday one and top Group G with ten points.
