Published: January 20, 2021
Queens Park Rangers have loaned out Nigeria-eligible striker Aramide Oteh who spent ten years at the Tottenham Hotspur academy prior to his move to the Hoops in 2017.
League Two club Colchester United have announced via their official website that Oteh has been signed on loan for the remainder of the 2020-2021 campaign.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Stevenage, scoring 4 goals in 15 matches before he was recalled by Queens Park Rangers earlier this month.
Previously Oteh enjoyed loan spells at Walsall and Bradford City, playing 35 games in total for both clubs.
Subject to clearance from the English Football League, he will be available for Colchester United's league match with Morecambe on Saturday, January 23.
Oteh will play with the number 9 jersey should he make his debut against Morecambe.
Colchester United are currently sat thirteenth in League Two with 30 points from 22 games.
