Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool Monitoring Situation Of Ex-Chelsea Midfielder Musiala
Published: January 20, 2021
Three Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation of German-Nigerian attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala.
According to Spox.com, the future of the England U21 international at Bayern Munich is now in doubt as the promising teenager and his camp are demanding an astronomical wage before extending his contract with the European champions.
Musiala wants an annual salary of 5.8 million euros (around N3.3 billion), a sum that the powers that be at Bayern Munich are not willing to pay.
The former Chelsea starlet was due to sign his first professional contract with Bayern Munich next month but it appears that negotiations between the parties have stalled.
Premier League champions Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are ready to swoop for Musiala if he does not extend his stay at Bayern.
Aged 17, he has already played 19 games for the first team of Bayern Munich, setting records along the way, and has three goals to his name.
Musiala has less than eighteen months on his contract with Bayern, whom he joined from Chelsea in 2019.
