Confirmed : Fulham Loan Out Chelsea Striker's Brother, Timmy Abraham To Raith Rovers
Published: January 30, 2021
With a statement on their official website, Premier League club Fulham have confirmed that London-born striker of Nigerian descent Timmy Abraham has joined Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers on a temporary basis.
The 20-year-old will be spending the remainder of the 2020-2021 season on loan at the Rovers.
This is Timmy's third loan stint away from the Cottagers since his arrival at the club from Charlton Athletic in 2017, having previously spent time at Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle.
He is the younger brother of popular Chelsea attacker Tammy Abraham, who became cap-tied to England in October 2019.
Nigerian Federation president Amaju Pinnick has held talks with Timmy about committing his international to the Super Eagles and it's a straightforward case as he hasn't played for his country of birth at any level.
The relevant paperwork was completed in time to allow Timmy make his full debut for Raith Rovers in their 3-1 win against Dundee at Stark's Park (Kirkcaldy) on Saturday evening.
The Fulham loanee will wear the number 11 jersey at Raith Rovers.
