Wolverhampton Wanderers urged to sign Fulham winger Lookman if Traore is sold
Published: March 06, 2021
Express & Star reporter Nathan Judah has urged Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Super Eagles target Ademola Lookman if Adama Traore is sold in the summer.
Last season, Spain international Traore was one of the hottest properties in European football and the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool were credited with an interest in the dribbling sensation but he stayed put at Wolves when the summer transfer window closed.
Traore has not lived up to his reputation in the 2020-2021 season and Judah is advising the Molineux Stadium outfit to cash in on the winger if an interested club make an offer for him.
Judah believes the Spaniard would command a huge transfer fee and some part of the money could be reinvested to sign a cheaper replacement and he namechecked Lookman as the ideal player to compensate for the departure of the Barcelona academy product.
"I mean, I’m a big (Ademola) Lookman fan, he’s obviously on loan at Fulham, but someone like that, that Wolves could go in for, if you’re getting them for half the price of selling Adama and you can bank 25 million pounds or 30 million pounds, I’m not averse to doing that," Judah said on the E&S Wolves podcast via This is Futbol.
RB Leipzig-owned winger Lookman has been one of the shining lights for Fulham this season, scoring four goals and setting up three others in 24 matches in the top-flight.
