Agent reveals Spartak Moscow were skeptical about signing Victor Moses from Chelsea
Former Spartak Moscow consultant and Italian agent Franco Camozzi has revealed that the Russian Premier League side had doubts about signing Victor Moses from Chelsea on loan last October.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner ended a nine-year association with Chelsea earlier this month after completing a permanent switch to Spartak Moscow.

The Red and Whites activated the mandatory purchase option in the loan deal bringing Moses to the Russian capital after he helped them finish in one of the Champions League positions.

The versatile wing-back impressed in his first season at Spartak, scoring four goals and assisting three others in nineteen matches in the top-flight.

"I am very happy that Moses signed the contract. When I proposed him to Spartak, I heard many times in response: "Are you sure about Moses?" Camozzi said to Sport Express.

"Victor proved in the Russian Premier League that I was confident in him! I am very glad that everything worked out for him and he will continue to help Spartak".

Spartak Moscow number 8 Moses has picked up where he left off last season, scoring in back-to-back pre-season games against NK Bravo and HNK Sibenik.
