Official : Versatile Anglo-Nigerian defender signs new contract at Luton Town
Published: August 06, 2021
Luton Town have confirmed that versatile Anglo-Nigerian defender Gabriel Osho has signed a new contract with the Championship club.
Osho joined the Hatters in November 2020 after he was released by his boyhood club Reading, where he spent twelve years.
The 22-year-old was farmed out on loan to Maidenhead United, Aldershot Town, Bristol Rovers and Yeovil Town to get a taste of first team experience during his time at Reading.
Last season, he enjoyed loan spells at Yeovil Town and Rochdale, totaling 32 appearances in all competitions for both clubs, and scored his first senior goal against AFC Wimbledon on April 27, 2021.
After putting pen to paper, Osho said to Luton Town's official website : "I’ve been here almost a year and it feels 100 per cent like home now.
"I think it was good for me to go out on loan and get the experience I had at Yeovil and Rochdale last year, but now coming back into training and having a full pre-season with the squad and with the manager, I feel really settled and just want to kick on."
