Watford include 3 Super Eagles stars in EPL squad; U21 players Adeyemo & Enahoro also eligible
Published: September 10, 2021Watford have submitted their squad list to the Premier League following the close of the summer transfer window.
Three Super Eagles stars Oghenekaro Etebo, Emmanuel Dennis and William Troost-Ekong have been named in the Hornets' 23-man list.
Etebo is spending the entirety of the season on loan at Vicarage Road, Dennis joined on a permanent deal from Club Brugge in June and Troost-Ekong is in his second season following his move from sister club Udinese.
The Stoke City loanee will be wearing the number 4 on the back of his jersey, Troost-Ekong has taken number 5 and Dennis has been assigned number 25.
Nigeria U23 international Tom Dele-Bashiru and Rangers academy product Dapo Mebude have not been registered by the Hornets after completing loan moves to Reading and AFC Wimbledon respectively.
Watford have informed that all their U21 players are also eligible to be included in the squad, meaning Darrin Enahoro-Marcus and Toby Adeyemo have a remote chance of making their Premier League debuts.
The three Nigeria internationals have started the first three matches played by Watford in the Premier League this term.
