'Watch out for him' - Italian football expert warns Leicester about Napoli's Super Eagles star
Published: September 16, 2021
Italian football expert Vieri Capretta has warned Leicester City about Victor Osimhen ahead of tonight's Europa League meeting against Napoli at the King Power Stadium.
Despite concerns over his fitness, the Nigeria international is presumably in contention to be involved in some capacity against the Foxes, having traveled to the United Kingdom with the Napoli squad.
Though Osimhen has yet to open his account at club level after two matches in 2021-2022, Capretta believes Osimhen can strike fear into the Leicester City defence.
Osimhen will be full of confidence heading into tonight's fixture after helping Napoli and Nigeria register two wins each in the Serie A and 2022 World Cup qualifiers respectively.
Highlighting the players Leicester City must be wary of, Capretta said to the official webpage of the Foxes : "Right now, in top form, there’s Matteo Politano, the right winger.
"He will likely start again after playing against Juventus. He scored the equaliser against Juve and he’s in very good shape.
"Victor Osimhen, the centre forward, still needs to find consistency in his scoring, but I think he’s got everything there, the talent is there. He’s a little raw perhaps, but watch out for him".

Osimhen's last goal in Europe was in a Champions League clash against Valencia on November 5, 2019 while wearing the colours of Lille.
