Published: October 03, 2021
Emmanuel Dennis, Oghenekaro Etebo and William Troost-Ekong will be getting a new coach at Watford in the coming days following the dismissal of Xisco Munoz on Sunday.
The Spaniard is the first manager to be dismissed in the new English Premier League season due to a poor run of results.
The Hornets have collected four points from their last six games in the top-flight and were defeated by Championship club Stoke City in the Carabao Cup last month.
Watford are sitting fourteenth in the Premier League with seven points from seven matches heading into the second international break of the season.
Watford said in a press release : "Watford FC confirms Xisco Muñoz has left his post as the club's Head Coach.
"The Board feels recent performances strongly indicate a negative trend at a time when team cohesion should be visibly improving."

Etebo made seven appearances under Xisco, Dennis nine and Ekong appeared in 29 matches including 20 in the Championship.
Xisco Munoz was appointed Watford coach last December and guided the club back to the Premier League with a second-placed finish.
Watford have confirmed that the announcement of a new coach is 'imminent'.
