Official : Chelsea starlet Anjorin's jersey number revealed after loan move to Huddersfield
Championship club Huddersfield Town have confirmed the signing of Chelsea attacking midfielder Faustino Anjorin.

The England youth international of Nigerian descent has moved to the Terriers on loan for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season.

Anjorin spent the first half of the season on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow but the Russian outfit passed up on the opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis due to the foreign footballers limit.

The 20-year-old has been inactive since October 30, 2021 after he was diagnosed with a fracture of the metatarsal bone, leading to his return to parent club Chelsea to receive treatment and for rehabilitation.

For the remainder of the campaign, the Anglo-Nigerian youngster will be wearing the number 7 shirt at Huddersfield Town.

Commenting on the signing of Anjorin, Huddersfield head coach Carlos Corberán told the club's official website : "I believe Tino is one of the most important young talents in Britain.

"He is now in the last part of his recovery from injury, and we expect he can be integrated into our squad during February.

"As soon as he is fully recovered, he will increase the possibilities of our squad. He can play in different attacking positions – as a 10, 11 or 7 – and he has the skills to make a real impact in our attacking play."

Anjorin has recorded five first team appearances for Chelsea since making his debut in a Carabao Cup fixture against Grimsby Town in September 2019.
