Shoretire reacts after first training session under Erik ten Hag
Published: June 29, 2022
Shola Shoretire has taken to Instagram to react after his first training session under new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
The Red Devils' first team started pre-season training on Monday at their Carrington base, with England U19 international of Nigerian descent Shoretire part of the group as expected.
With several first team stars granted an extended vacation due to their commitments with their respective nations over the summer, Ten Hag invited some exciting academy players to make up the numbers, including Shoretire.
The attacking midfielder was not on international duty after the end of the 2021-2022 season as he was left out of the Young Lions squad to the ongoing European U19 Championship in Slovakia.
Shoretire rubbed shoulders with the likes of Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, David de Gea, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford during the workout on Monday, June 27.
"Good to be back, " Shoretire posted on Instagram.
Last term, Shoretire made two appearances for United's first team, against Young Boys in the Champions League and Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season.
