Fulham's Anglo-Bulgarian-Nigerian winger reveals why he'd love to face Liverpool
Published: August 03, 2022Fulham's Anglo-Bulgarian-Nigerian winger Sylvester Jasper has revealed the English Premier League side he'd love to face in the new season.
The Cottagers begin the 2022-2023 campaign with a mouth-watering clash against Jurgen Klopp's team at Craven Cottage on Saturday, August 6, lunchtime kickoff.
And Jasper should be available for selection having trained with the first team during pre-season preparations and playing a few ninety minutes with them.
The Bulgaria U21 international is back at Fulham after spending the 2021-2022 season on loan at two different British clubs in Colchester United and Hibernian.
Jasper has made three first team appearances for Fulham since joining the London club a decade ago and has received one call-up for a Premier League game but was not utilized off the bench.
Asked the Premier League club he'd love to face and why, he told Fulham's official website : "I'd love to face Liverpool, mainly because it would be great to play against my boy Fabio [Carvalho]."
On his personal aims for the upcoming season, Jasper said : "I want to improve on every single aspect of my game, which includes playing more matches and recording more goals and assists."
Jasper got on the scoresheet on three occasions and bagged two assists during his loan spell at Colchester United in the first half of last season.
