Super Eagles and Gunners legend sends message to Arsenal ahead of Man Utd clash
Published: September 04, 2022
Nigeria and Gunners legend Nwankwo Kanu has taken to social media to send a message to Arsenal ahead of their mammoth Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal go into the fixture in fine form having won their opening five games in the division, the only team to do so in 2022-2023, while the Red Devils are also on a good run of form, having won three straight games.
Mikel Arteta's team defeated the Red Devils 3-1 the last time both teams faced off in the Premier League.
Kanu is backing the Gunners to maintain their one hundred percent start to the new Premier League season.

1996 Olympics gold medalist Kanu made ten career appearances against Manchester United as an Arsenal player, scoring two goals.
No Nigeria-eligible player is expected to be involved in the clash between Manchester United and Arsenal.
Shola Shoretire and Zach Awe were on U21 duties for their respective teams in the Premier League 2 on Saturday, while the likes of Folarin Balogun and Arthur Okonkwo have been loaned out.
