Red-hot striker Balogun tells Thierry Henry his goals for the 2022-2023 season
Published: September 05, 2022
In an interview with Prime Video Sport, Anglo-American-Nigerian centre-forward Folarin Balogun has told legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry his goals for the 2022-2023 season.
The arrival of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah renewing his contract pushed the England U21 international further down the pecking order of strikers at the Emirates Stadium and he has been loaned out to Stade de Reims, where he is guaranteed game time.
He has had a positive start to his career at Reims, scoring five goals in his first six league games in the French top-flight, while providing an assist.
On the back of Balogun's great form, the Hale End Academy graduate was nominated for the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Month for August 2022.
The 21-year-old wants to contribute at least fifteen goals for Reims before returning to his parent club next summer.

In a quick video message, Henry insisted that Balogun should reveal his goals this season and urged the promising striker to follow in the footsteps of Muhammad Ali, regarded as one of the greatest sportsmen of all time.
Replying Arsenal's all-time top scorer, Balogun stated : "I haven't seen this video before so I'm shocked, I can't believe this.
"For me Thierry Henry is a very special guy because he's done so much in his career.
"To get ten goals, five assists and to learn French so hopefully I can do this before I leave. If I reach it, I'd change them again. They are my goals."
Balogun is ten goals and four assists away from reaching the modest target he has set for himself.
