IFFHS Men's club world ranking : Rivers United only Nigerian club in top 300

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has published the Men's Club World Ranking 2022 as at August 31, 2022 with only one Nigerian club listed in the top 300.
Rivers United, winners of the 2021-2022 Nigeria Professional Football League, have been ranked 211st with 83.5 points.
Al Ahly SC, Wydad AC Casablanca, Atlético Petro de Luanda, Mamelodi Sundowns FC, Zamalek SC, CR Belouizdad and Pyramids FC have been included in the top 100 highest ranked clubs.
The other African teams that ranked higher than Rivers United are Raja CA Casablanca, RSB Berkane, ES Sétif, Orlando Pirates FC, JS Saoura, Simba SC, Esperance ST, TP Mazembe, Al Hilal Omdurman, Al Masry, Red Arrows FC, Al Merreikh, Al Ahli Tripoli and ASEC Mimosas.
In the top 100 there are 61 teams from UEFA, 29 from CONMEBOL, seven from CAF, three from AFC and one from CONCACAF, while there are 36 different countries (UEFA 21, CONMEBOL 7, CAF 5, AFC 2 and CONCACAF.
Brazil has 13 clubs, while England, Italy and Spain have seven and Argentina and France have six.
