Arsenal and Chelsea genuinely interested in signing Eagles star
Published: December 11, 2022Arsenal and Chelsea are genuinely interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha,. according to reports.
Teamtalk's transfer market insider Graeme Bailey claims that the Ivory Coast international has been the subject of ‘real interest’ from Arsenal and Chelsea this past year, although they are currently pursuing alternative signings.
Zaha will enter the last six months of his contract with the Eagles next month and will be available on a free transfer at the end of this season if he doesn't extend his stay at Selhurst Park.
The 30-year-old has been on the books of Crystal Palace since 2015, returning to the London club for a second spell after an unsuccessful stint at Manchester United.
In 443 career appearances for Palace, he has directly participated in 164 goals (89 goals, 75 assists).
Marseille, Monaco, PSG, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also monitoring the situation of Zaha with a view to a transfer.
