In an interview with Dutch language regional newspaper, Het Belang van Limburg, via Voetbalnieuws, Racing Genk Technical Director Dimitri de Conde clarified that for the time being no club has shown concrete interest in Onuachu.
Onuachu has been in incredible form this season with fourteen goals in fifteen appearances before the World Cup break, and has also impressed in recent friendlies.
The lanky striker also enjoyed a banner 2021-2022 campaign, netting 23 goals in all competitions, while the previous season was his best in terms of goal scored, 35 in 41 matches.
Onuachu joined Racing Genk from Danish outfit FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2019 in exchange for eight million euros.
The FC Ebedei product has eighteen months left on his contract with Racing Genk.
