Nigeria Football Federation target Michael Olise has won Crystal Palace's Goal of the Month award for January 2023.
Olise beat off competition from 2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ademola Ola-Adebomi and another striker of Nigerian descent, Victor Akinwale to win the monthly accolade.
The other nominees were Crystal Palace U18 duo Rio Cardines and Joseph Gibbard, and Women's defender Hollie Olding.
Olise's sumptuous free-kick effort against Manchester United in injury time won the poll that is voted on by the Palace supporters
The France U21 international received 77 percent of the vote to place first, with U18s duo Joe Gibbard (9.3 percent) and Rio Cardines (8.8 percent) finishing in second and third place respectively.
Olise's sensational strike against Manchester United was named Premier League Goal of the Month for January and the winger is in contention to scoop a hat-trick of awards as the goal has also been nominated for the Goal of the Season at the London Football Awards.
OlaAdebomi and Akinwale were shortlisted for their goals against Brighton & Hove and Liverpool respectively in the Premier League 2.
