The Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) have announced Brazil's final squad for the upcoming 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup holding in Argentina.
The five-time world champions will do battle with Nigeria, Italy and the Dominican Republic in Group D of the competition.
Nigeria and Brazil meet in their final Group D game at the Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona, La Plata - the sixth time the two countries will be facing each other.
Twenty one players have been summoned by manager Ramon Menezes, comprising three goalkeepers, three fullbacks/wingbacks, seven defenders while eight are classed as attackers.
Chelsea-owned player Andrey Santos, a key member of the Brazil U20 squad that won the CONMEBOL Championship earlier this year, is part of the group, along with another player on the books of an English club in Watford attacker Matheus Martins.
Santos was the joint top scorer of the 2023 South American U-20 Championship with six goals to his name, an honor he shared with his teammate Vitor Roque.
The 18-year-old was loaned out to his previous club Vasco da Gama in March and will be returning to Chelsea after the 2023 World Cup.
PSV Eindhoven's Savinho, Almeria's Caíque Melo and Zenit's Robert Renan are also part of the group heading to Argentina.
