Aina, Chukwuemeka, Madueke send messages to Azpilicueta after Chelsea departure

Super Eagles right-back Ola Aina and Nigeria-eligible duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke have sent their goodwill messages to César Azpilicueta who has left Chelsea after 11 years of service to the club.
Azplicueta joined Chelsea in 2012 from Olympique Marseille and went on to make 508 appearances for the The Blues in all competitions.
He enjoyed a trophy-laden stay at Stamford Bridge which saw him win all available trophies including the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
The 33-year-old was the captain of the Blues before his departure having been named captain in 2019 after Gary Cahill's exit.
He was the skipper when the London-based club won their first ever FIFA Club World Cup in 2021 when they defeated Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
"You called me Dave, I'll always call you home,"Azpilicueta wrote on Instagram.
Cobham product Aina had the opportunity to play with Azpilicueta and has reacted to the former Chelsea defender farewell post on social media.
Aina wrote: "All the best legend".
Chukwuemeka and Madueke played with the versatile defender during the 2022-2023 season and also reacted to his farewell post.
The England U21 star said: "All the best Azpi legend".
Madueke added : "All the best bro".
The Spanish International has now joined Atlético de Madrid on a free transfer, signing a one-season deal.
