Nigeria U20 international Daniel Daga has named the five teams he would love to play for within the next five years.
The FC One Rocket wonderkid has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence over the last one year or so on the back of his outstanding performances for the Flying Eagles.
He was a member of the Flying Eagles squad to the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers in Niger, U20 AFCON in Egypt and the 2023 Fifa U20 World Cup.
Daga is a composed defensive midfielder who reads the game perfectly, and the highlight of his performance at the 2023 Fifa U20 World Cup was keeping Golden Ball and Golden Boot winner, Cesare Casadei in check during Nigeria's 2-0 win over Italy in the group stage.
Despite putting himself in the shop window in Argentina, a transfer to Europe is not possible for now as he is still a minor, having been born in January 2007.
Daga namechecked Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid when quizzed on the clubs he would love to represent in the future amid interest from several European clubs for his services.
"I want to see myself playing at Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd; play in the Champions League; play in the FA Cup, win the FA Cup and win Champions League in the next five years," Daga said to Nigeria Info FM.
"Because I have the belief, the confidence and boldness that I'm going to be there in the next five years and I'll be playing in the Super Eagles."
Daga was snapped up by Carabana Academy, the nursery for FC One Rocket, after featuring for Community Secondary Commercial School, Ibiaku Itam, Itu LGA of Akwa Ibom State in the 2021 edition of the Principal's Cup.
