Arsenal name history-making midfielder of Nigerian descent in travelling squad to Germany

History-making midfielder Ethan Nwaneri, who is the youngest-ever player to feature in the Premier League, has been named in Arsenal's travelling squad for their pre-season training camp in Germany.
Nwaneri traveled with the Arsenal senior team members on Sunday and will be hoping to be involved when they face German 2.Bundesliga outfit Nürnberg on Thursday.
The 16-year-old had earlier featured in the Gunners' behind-closed-doors friendly against Watford at London Colney on Saturday and is now set to have another opportunity to train with the first-team players.
The attacking midfielder became the youngest debutant in Premier League history last season and his exceptional talent had attracted the interest of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, the England youth International has committed his future to Arsenal, ending all speculations linking him with an exit from the Emirates Stadium.
The north London club are set to embark on a pre-season tour of the United States when they leave Germany.
Ahead of the forthcoming seaon, Arsenal will be involved in pre-season games against MLS All-Stars, Manchester United and Barcelona before their return to England where they will end their pre-season activities with a game against Monaco on the 2nd of August.
