English Premier League side Chelsea have revealed their squad numbers for the United States pre-season tour.
New Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino included two Super Eagles-eligible players in the travelling squad to the United States of America announced on Monday,
Central midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has been allocated the number 30 shirt, while left-footed winger Noni Madueke will be wearing the number 31 at the back of his jersey.
It means the two Anglo-Nigerian players have chosen to pick up the same shirt numbers they wore in their first season at Chelsea.
Chelsea's number 30 kit was previously worn by David Luiz, Yossi Benayoun, Rhys Taylor, Tiago Mendes, Jesper Grönkjaer, Émerson Thome, Luca Percassi, Frode Grodås and Nick Colgan.
The number 31 shirt was previously occupied by Malang Sarr, Nathan Baxter, Jamie Cumming, Fikayo Tomori, Andreas Christensen, Filipe Oliveira, Marco Ambrosio, Mark Bosnich, George Weah, Nick Colgan, Craig Forrest and Graham Rix.
Chelsea have warned that the shirt numbers worn by all players may not be representative of their finalised squad numbers for the 2023-24 season.
Chelsea will face newly promoted League Two outfit Wrexham in their opening game in the United States, followed by matches against Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund.
