Super Eagles winger Chukwueze expected in Italy this week to finalise transfer to AC Milan

 AC Milan are on the verge of completing the signing of Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal 

According to information emanating from the reliable transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano, the deal will be completed this week as the Rossoneri are already sealing the final details of the deal.

AC Milan have been prioritizing a move for Chukwueze over available options for the right flank and must be glad that they are close to getting their man.

The seven-time European champions finished fourth in the Italian Serie A last season which was a big downgrade from the position they attained in the previous season where they scooped the league title.

Stefano Pioli's side seems to be determined to wrestle the Scudetto crown from Napoli based on the players they have acquired this summer.

They have signed Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Noah Okafor already and the addition of Chukwueze could be the icing on the cake.

The insistence on pursuing a move for the right winger is not far-fetched as he was in a rich vein of form for Villarreal last season and helped them qualify for the Europa League.

The 24-year-old dazzling right winger posted 24 goal contributions in all competitions, which is the highest he has registered in a single season for the Yellow Submarine.
