2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ovie Ejeheri is in line to feature for Arsenal U21s in their opening day fixture in the Premier League 2 against West Ham United.
As revealed by Jeorge Bird on Wednesday afternoon, the young goalkeeper could feature for Arsenal's development side against the young Hammers on Saturday.
He was unable to take part in pre-season games as he was given time off following the conclusion of his loan spell with Finnish side Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho.
The 20-year-old spent the second half of the season with the Finnish outfit and had a descent record as their first-choice goalkeeper.
He featured in 18 games across all competitions for SJK Seinäjoki keeping 9 clean sheets and conceded 15 goals.
The Hale End Academy product spent the first half of last season on loan at National League South club Chelmsford City FC, where he registered twelve clean sheets and conceded 11 goals.
With the Nigerian goalkeeper yet to secure a temporary or permanent move for the new season, he would be featuring for Arsenal's development side for the time being.
He had earlier spent some time with the side in the 2021/2022 season where he was in goal for 8 games.
