Son Heung-min's agent doing everything possible to move Tosin to Tottenham rather than Monaco
Published: August 13, 2023Fulham are working behind the scenes on the outgoing transfer of Manchester-born Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo before the close of the transfer window.
Tosin, who has applied for a Nigerian passport, ahead of a potential move to the French Ligue 1, was left out of Fulham's matchday squad for their Premier League opener against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, August 12.
According to Foot Mercato, Tosin has agreed a transfer to Monaco but the deal is being delayed because of Frank Trimboli, an influential agent in European football working for CAA Base Soccer.
Trimboli was mandated by Fulham to negotiate the transfer of Tosin and the Australian is doing everything possible to move the Manchester City academy product to Tottenham Hotspur rather than Monaco.
Trimboli has close links with the Lilywhites as he handles the affairs of newly-appointed Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min, summer signing from Leicester City James Maddison as well as Brazilian striker Richarlison.
The report added that Monaco have made a bid of seven million euros for the services of Tosin and are not ready to enter into any negotiations with Trimboli, who is working for Fulham's CEO Alistair Mackintosh.
The 25-year-old Tosin has entered the last one year of his contract and the Cottagers are open to his sale this summer, rather than lose him for nothing at the end of this season.
