Confirmed: 2023 Fifa Women's World Cup star Ohale joins Mexican club

Through a statement on their official website, Liga MX Femenil outfit Club de Fútbol Pachuca have announced the signing of 2023 Fifa Women's World Cup star Osinachi Ohale.
The central defender went the distance in all the four matches played by the Super Falcons at the ongoing World Cup, scoring in the 3-2 win over Australia and was named the Visa Player of the Match.
Ohale has joined CF Pachuca from Deportivo Alavés of Spain, for whom she played 27 matches last season including twenty five as a starter.
The 31-year-old has participated in four World Cups and won four Women's Africa Cup of Nations titles with the Super Falcons.
She represented Rivers United and Delta Queens in her homeland before joining National Women's Soccer League club Houston Dash in 2014.
The European clubs she represented in the past include Vittsjö GIK, Växjö DFF, CD Tacón, AS Roma and Madrid CFF.
After five matches in the Liga MX Femenil, Pachuca occupy the 12th position in the 18-team table with six points, having won two games, scoring nine goals while conceding ten.
