Nottingham Forest loanee Emmanuel Dennis' market value crashes by N818m
Published: September 27, 2023
Emmanuel Dennis' lack of playing time and form have seen his market value drop, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Football statistics and transfer news website Transfermarkt has updated the market value of players in the Turkish Super Lig with the Nottingham Forest loanee valued at seven million euros (approximately N5.7 billion in Nigerian currency).
Prior to the latest update, Dennis was valued at eight million euros, meaning his market value has crashed by one million euros or N818 million.
The Nigeria international has played only 67 minutes since the season started in August, making his debut for Basaksehir FK off the bench versus Istanbulspor before starting his first game since April 4 against Galatasaray last weekend.
Few months after he signed for Nottingham Forest, the forward was valued at €12 million and was rated at €10 million in March 2023.
Dennis has gone seven consecutive games without finding the net, with his last strike coming against Newcastle United in a Premier League game on March 17.
The former Club Brugge star is the most valuable player in the Basaksehir FK squad, ranked number 34 among all players of the Turkish Super Lig and 20th when it comes to players classed as Nigerians.
