Chelsea provide update on fitness of Chukwuemeka ahead of visit of Frank Onyeka's Brentford

Premier League giants Chelsea have provided an update on the fitness of their players before the visit of Frank Onyeka's Brentford for a matchday 10 fixture kicking off at 1230 hours on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
There is no good news yet regarding Carney Chukwuemeka's return to action, with the Blues revealing that the England underage international of Nigerian descent is 'continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme'.
The talented midfielder has not figured for the Blues since the Premier League meeting with West Ham United on August 20.
Chuwkuemeka sustained an injury to his left knee, leading to his substitution in the 46th minute, and the following day he underwent surgery.
He was closing in on a return to action and even made the matchday squad for the trip to Burnley but suffered a relapse and was not available for selection against Arsenal last weekend.
Chukwuemeka is highly thought of by Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino given that the Argentine football tactician named him in the starting lineup in all but one of the matches during pre-season preparations, before starting him in the first two Premier League games.
Chukwuemeka's teammates Lesley Ugochukwu and Noni Madueke should be available for selection against the Bees, with the two Super Eagles-eligible players spotted in the latest training footage.
After a difficult start to the campaign, Chelsea have gotten their season back on track, winning three and drawing one of their last four matches in all competitions.
