Brighton in talks over a deal for 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee to join League One club

Brighton & Hove are in talks with Wigan Athletic over a loan deal for 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Odel Offiah.
As reported by Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, the seagulls are seeking to loan the defender to the English Football League One side.
The 21-year-old was previously sent on loan to Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian but his contract had to be terminated due to an undisclosed health condition.
With a host of center-back options available at the disposal of Brighton's manager Roberto De Zerbi and the inexperience of Offiah, it only makes sense to send him to a club where he would get enough playing time.
Wigan sit in the bottom half of the table in League One and could make do with more additions to the squad.
Should Offiah join the Latics, he will have to compete with Charlie Hughes, Liam Morrison, Kelland Watts, and Omar Rekik for a place in the starting XI.
The Anglo-Nigerian defender is yet to feature in any game since October when he came on as a second-half substitute in Heart's 2-1 loss to Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
He will have to overcome his fitness issue to stand a chance of playing regularly wherever he goes next.
