Former Super Eagles invitee prefers a move to Arsenal over the possibility of joining Man Utd
Published: January 05, 2024
2021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise reportedly wants a move to Arsenal over Manchester United who are planning a summer move for him.
According to Footballtransfers, the talented forward is keen on joining the Gunners rather than moving to Old Trafford.
The report added that Arsenal would like to move for the France youth international in this window but will need to sell some players deemed surplus to requirements if they are to get his signature this month.
Mikel Arteta is said to be relishing the opportunity to work with the Crystal Palace winger but might have to wait till the summer for a move to materialize.
After recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him on the sidelines in the first few weeks of the season, Olise has fully recovered and he is beginning to show why he was coveted by Chelsea in the summer.
He netted 4 goals last month and has made the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month nominations list .
It will be interesting to see how this new development affects Manchester United's pursuit of the French-Nigerian player.
