Ahlan Cup: Haruna focused on Family Worship Champions objectives despite semifinal loss to NYSC

Family Worship Champions FC on Tuesday in Abuja lost 1 -0 to NYSC in the semifinal of the ongoing Ahlan cup played at the FIFA Goal Project Center.
In a hard-fought battle FWC FC fell to a second half goal after a mix-up in their defense.
NYSC will now face Sports Supply FC in the final which will be played on Thursday at the same venue.
Reflecting on the match, head coach of FWC FC, Bunmi Haruna acknowledged the team's valiant effort despite the loss.
"It was a tough game, despite the defeat, I think we had a lot positives from the way we played." remarked Haruna.
"Our players gave their all on the field, demonstrating resilience and determination throughout the match which is what I want from my players.
"While the result didn't go our way, we remain focused on building a stronger team for the future."
Despite the setback, Haruna emphasized the team's unwavering commitment to improve.
"We keep building to make the team stronger," he stated.
"Every match, win or lose, is an opportunity to learn and grow. Our target is the state FA Cup and upcoming league games, to earn promotion back to the NNL.
"FWC FC is gradually winning the hearts of Abuja back with the brand of football we play and we will not stop till we achieve our objectives for the season."
