Super Eagles hold final training session 6pm, no pre-match press conference scheduled
Published: November 15, 2025
The Super Eagles will finalize their preparations for Sunday's crucial playoff final against the Democratic Republic of Congo with a training session scheduled for this evening at the Institute Royal De Formation in Rabat, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The session is expected to kick off at 6pm, and the first 15 minutes have been designated open for press coverage, giving the media a brief window to observe the players’ intensity and readiness ahead of the decisive clash.
After the initial period, the team will continue behind closed doors as the technical crew works on tactical adjustments and final strategic details.
However, in a surprising development, there will be no pre-match press conference before the game.
According to team officials, the organizers of the playoffs did not make any provision for one, meaning journalists and supporters will have to wait until match day for official comments from the coaching staff and players.
As preparations wrap up in Rabat, Nigerians at home and abroad will be hoping that the Super Eagles step onto the pitch on Sunday fully prepared to secure a vital victory and continue their journey toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
